Dr. Sarah Cordero is a dedicated physical therapist who thrives on helping people reach their full potential in health and wellness. Sarah obtained her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA where she gained a comprehensive understanding of anatomy, biomechanics, and therapeutic techniques. Her education also included extensive hands-on clinical experience in orthopedics and sports medicine, which has been instrumental in shaping her approach to patient care.

Having worked in various clinical settings across the country, Sarah brings a wealth of experience to her practice. Her personal background in sports—whether as an athlete or sports enthusiast—deeply influences her approach. Understanding the unique demands of athletic performance and recovery allows Sarah to connect with and support athletes and active individuals in a meaningful way. Whether helping patients recover from injuries, surgery, manage chronic pain, or improve functional movement, Sarah utilizes a combination of hands-on techniques, exercise prescription, and patient education to foster both recovery and overall well-being.

Outside of the clinic, Sarah is a certified CrossFit coach (CF-OL1) and member at Sweat Panda CrossFit. She has extensive training in weightlifting which is an area of passion for her. She enjoys hiking, camping, cooking, and spending quality time with her husband and dog.

Sarah looks forward to partnering with patients on their journey to better health and is always available to address any questions or provide support.

Why don’t we accept insurance at Lost Coast Physical Therapy

In order to provide top quality physical therapy services, Lost Coast Physical Therapy is out of network with ALL insurance companies. Most insurance companies have numerous restrictions that can affect the way we provide care. Without these restrictions, we are able to focus directly on YOU. All of our treatments are one-on-one ensuring you get the time and attention that you deserve.

While we don’t accept insurance, you can request a Superbill after your appointment which you can submit to your insurance provider and request reimbursement. Additionally, you may be able to use your FSA/HSA for services. Please contact your insurance provider for further details on reimbursement for out-of-network providers.

Lost Coast Physical Therapy is not a Medicare Provider. As such, current law prevents us from providing “normally covered services” to those with Medicare coverage, which includes physical therapy. If you are covered by Medicare, but would like to discuss options, please contact us.
